Claude Plugins 101: Everything You Need to Know

A skill teaches Claude how to do one thing your way. A plugin bundles a set of skills together and plugs them into the chat, so instead of handling a single task, Claude can take on a whole job, make choices as it goes, and even fill things in for you.

The catch is that most people don't know plugins exist. Claude has a whole marketplace for them, built by Anthropic and by other people, covering all sorts of work, but finding and installing them is less obvious than adding skills.

In this session I'll show you the difference between chat, skills, and plugins so you know which one is best for what you're doing, take you into the plugins marketplace, and show you how to install one so you can see exactly how it works.

You'll leave able to find a plugin for the work you do, install it, and use it the same day, with a clear sense of when a plugin is the right call and when a plain skill will do.
